The never ending search for “the dress”
I had found the dress, it was going toi double as my bridesmaid dress for Jess’s wedding.  It was hot it was perfect….it was not available in my size before the end of August.
So onwards I go,  I still fantasise about walking into some dark little op shop absent mindedly grazing through the racks and rack’s crappy tank tops and demin skirts to find “the perfect dress”

Thank you note postcards #2
“Photo postcards allow you to share your wedding-day memories — and they are simple to create. The deckled edges and stamped “Post Card” heading evoke correspondence from the early 20th century.”
You dont have to find a company to make postcards for you. This one is really simple actually, you  can take your photos (if you have them on a USB or a memory card its even easier) and take them to Kinkos or even wal-marts photolab and print out a bunch of 4x6 pictures making sure to choose the white boarder option. Print as many as you need. Then cut the edges with patterned scissors which you can find at a craft store, which will give you the deckled edges. Then simply get a postcard stamp to stamp postcard on it, write your message and put a stamp on it!
I really love this idea - Although I think I will use them as wedding Reception invitations.  Sweet, I love cheap ideas that look awesome.

Lithy Bacons will wed the lovely Jake Forbes

thus becoming

Lithy & Jake Bacons

*no not really - it’ll be Lithy and Jake Forbes*

So I’m making a wedding tumblr not only to divert the gushing to another venue where people who want to read it can but also to keep track and a nice memento of the occassion.
